The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, says nearly a third of the country’s power stations have been destroyed by Russian missile attacks in the past eight days alone. Russia has launched a series of attacks on Ukraine’s energy supply, hitting facilities in Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv on Tuesday.
