Three more grain ships leave Ukrainian ports for Asia and Europe

Three extra vessels carrying 61,000 tonnes of agricultural items for nations in Asia and Europe have departed from Ukraine’s Black Sea ports.

Ukraine’s Infrastructure Ministry explained this in a submit on Fb, Ukrinform reviews.

According to the ministry, three ships are relocating along the “grain corridor” for the loading of 85,500 tonnes of agricultural items.

Ukraine, Turkey and UN Secretary Basic Antonio Guterres signed the Initiative on the Protected Transportation of Grain and Foodstuffs from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi in Istanbul on July 22. The initially ship with Ukrainian grain still left the port of Odesa on August 1.

Ukraine, the United Nations and Turkey agreed in Istanbul on November 17 to lengthen the Black Sea Grain Initiative for a further 120 days.
